During the June 9th Chat with Chuck program, Dean Hibberd described enhancements being made to the County Website Management System by the Internet and Interactive Media Group at UNL.
Key enhancements include:
• The opportunity for offices to improve visibility of local programs and topics with an emphasis on 4-H
• The ability to post calendar information, i.e., events, activities
• An opportunity for individuals with multi-county responsibilities to post information once and have it appear on multiple county sites.
We had hoped to make enhancements available this month, but after taking into consideration summer schedules, local fairs and a host of other statewide activities, we’ve decided to wait until after State Fair to release the new version of the software. Doing so will allow more time for testing and piloting the system.
