Site Bytes web tips for county sites

Have you visited the "Web Guide" lately? The "Web Guide" was recently updated to include links to videos, articles and other web resources for managing your county site.

When logged into your county site, you'll see a "Web Guide" link on the top grey menu bar. At the top of the "Web Guide" page is a link to the "Complete Help Guide Including Switching to the New Layout". The Complete Help Guide PDF covers the basics on how to use the county website system. In it you'll find information from how to log in to how to add a featured promo. It's a helpful refresher and a good resource for training new staff on how to use the county website system.

The "Web Guide" page also includes links to a quick guide and online tools. Under the "Quick Guide and Tools" header you'll find quick links to the responsive table generator, the icon factory and how to create an online form. The "Website Resources and Sample Code" link is for advanced users. It provides sample code that can be copy and pasted into the HTML editor.

If you missed a Site Bytes article in Nebraska Extension - Keeping Up, or want to revisit them after the busy fair time, you'll find them listed on the "Web Guide" page as well, along with links to short help videos.
