and any other questions you may have (i.e., can you be in the 3-week pre-session and still take summer Clinic, is it possible to work and take summer Clinic, etc.).

Fall Semester: There will be 14 slots available in the fall Civil Clinic, taught by Professors Knapp and Ruser. For the Criminal Clinic, taught by Professor Schmidt, 8 slots are available.

If you clerk or plan to clerk for the Lancaster County Public Defender’s Office or Federal Public Defender’s Office, you are not eligible to enroll in the Criminal Clinic due to a conflict of interest.

If you clerk or plan to clerk for a private firm that does some criminal defense work, you should check with Professor Schmidt to see if your work for that firm will make it difficult for you to be in the Criminal Clinic.
