Message from the Dean

Congratulations to everyone for completing another year of law school. To our graduating students, thank you for all of your contributions to the Law College while you were here and I wish you all the best in the future. Please remember that we are here for you as you take the bar and begin your careers, for career counseling, alumni contacts, and whatever other help we can provide. Please also come back and visit, there are many ways to stay involved at the College, from judging competitions to mentoring current law students. I am looking forward to congratulating each of you in person at graduation.

To our rising 2L and 3L students, I hope you have a great summer and return refreshed and ready for a new year. We have some new curricular offerings, including a dual degree program in Law and Public Health and one in Law and Gerontology, and the Entrepreneurship Clinic. We will be welcoming new faculty members and there will be many opportunities to get involved in student activities and competitions, and student-faculty committees.

Our commencement speaker this year is CNN analyst and writer for the New Yorker, Jeffrey Toobin. The commencements is at 3 pm at the Lied Center on May 5th and it is free and open to all students and their guests.

Good luck on Finals!
