Welcome to Nebraska Law & the Sounding Block! This online newsletter is distributed to University of Nebraska College of Law students on a weekly basis to keep them informed of happenings at the law college. For the next six weeks, you will receive a special “1L” version packed with information that will help you prepare for the start of your law school career. Hopefully the additional information will also help ease some of your butterflies and get you excited about Nebraska Law and the adventure on which you are about to embark.
This week’s issue should help you learn a little about Lincoln – the city you will call home for the next 3 years! Following issues will cover topics including: getting to know the University of Nebraska; an introduction to the 1L curriculum and faculty; ways to gain practical experience while at Nebraska Law; an overview of all the Career Services Office has to offer; and, helpful hints on how to survive orientation!
