Phi Alpha Delta wants to know where our law school falls, in terms of politics. In that interest, PAD proudly presents Cupcakes! Candidates! Competition! And Charity!
PAD will be selling cupcakes ($! each) giving everyone the choice to vote with each cupcake.
Democrat - Blue Frosting
Republican - Red Frosting
Independent/Undecided - Purple Frosting
Simply buy a cupcake and watch the daily updates and at the end of the week we will see where the law school stands.
The election is open to all students, faculty, and staff and unlike the FEC, we don't believe in holding clean and fair elections. We warmly encourage everyone to vote as many times as they want!
In addition to speaking out and having your voice heard on the issues that really matter, 50% of all PAD's proceeds from this sale will be donated to the Nebraska Fund for Clerkships in Public Interest. Many law students are interested in public interest law and helping their communities, but unfortunately most clerkships in public interest law are unpaid, forcing students to choose between helping their community and paying rent. The NFCPI provides grants to students to participate in public interest clerkships giving them the opportunity to participate in these important programs.
So help out your fellow law students, let your voice be heard, and enjoy some cupcakes. Vote soon and vote often!
