Members of the Women’s Law Caucus will be selling tickets for the Susan B. Anthony Charity Auction. Prices are $15 for nonmembers and $13 for members.
Tickets for the wine wall will also be on sale...stop by the table to find what a wine wall is!
The annual event supports several outstanding local organizations that provide invaluable services in the community: The Friendship Home, Voices of Hope, and The Nebraska Fund for Clerkships in Public Interest.
The Friendship Home provides emergency intervention, a safe haven, support and resources for women and children who have been the victims of domestic violence.
Voices of Hope provides support, understanding, education, resources and equips the community with awareness and counseling in the areas of domestic violence, sexual assault and incest.
The Nebraska Fund for Clerkships in Public Interest provides compensation for law students who choose to use the law to help underrepresented members of society.
The funds raised are split evenly among the organizations.
This year’s auction is Friday March 1, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ridnour Room at the Apothecary Loft in the Haymarket, downtown Lincoln.
