GRADUATES & THE BAR EXAM

A word of advice about the bar exam. You should consider bar preparation as a full time job in June and July. Avoid working and find childcare so you have the time you need to study. Good luck on the bar exam!

We know you are anxious for grades, and we process them as fast as we are able. All grades, GPAs and class ranks will be mailed on approximately Wednesday, May 22. 3=D+
2=D
0=F

ATTENTION DECEMBER 2013 GRADUATES

All law students are responsible for paying the Law College fee for six semesters or the equivalent of six semesters if the student attends summer school instead of the sixth semester. If you plan to graduate in December 2013, you will be required to pay for the sixth semester fee after you file your degree application in September. You will not be able to graduate without paying the fee, so start setting aside funds now.

2014 GRADUATES

A word of advice if you plan to take the Nebraska Bar in July 2014. Don’t wait until March 2014 to take the MPRE. You will have to pay a late fee of $100 to sit for the bar if you do so.

SUMMERTIME

This will be the last regular issue of The Sounding Block until fall classes start on August 26. We hope you all have a great summer!

GOOD LUCK ON THE REST OF YOUR FINALS!
