If you have reserved a study room near library closing time, please cooperate with the student circulation desk attendant and gather your things and leave at closing time. We appreciate your desire to study and your level of comfort and sense of ownership of your study space, but keep in mind that the library must close! Even you need to call it a day at closing. Get some sleep!
Planning Ahead! Windows XP Users
If you have a computer that is running Windows XP, it’s not too early to begin thinking about replacing it. Microsoft has announced that it cease support of XP in April 2014. At that time, many service providers will begin blocking access to their services by computers running XP. This Holiday Season might be a good time to ask for an upgrade to you computer!

It’s easy to get lost in thought as you’re preparing for finals and the end of the semester. It’s fine to get lost in your classwork, but don’t forget to keep an eye on your possessions in the library.

We are pleased to announce that we have scanned our entire collection of past exams and they are now available on the library’s webpage, http://law.unl.edu/library/ Past exams are listed in the center column, below Research Tools and are available by Course, Professor and Year.

REMINDER: IMPORTANT CAUTION FOR ALL OSX USERS! DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR OPERATING SYSTEMS UNTIL AFTER FINALS
Apple has issued an update to OSX 10.8 (Mountain Lion) to 10.9 (Mavericks). This update is wonderful, delightful and confusing in many ways. There is a major problem with upgrading this fall: Your system will not be compatible with the Exam4 software. The company is working on new versions of Exam4 but won't have it ready for release until January, so please resist the urge to update until after finals.
