Angel Tree Christmas program

Help spread holiday cheer with the Angel Tree Christmas program, a service project of the Christian Legal Society. Angel Tree Christmas reconnects incarcerated parents with their children by providing modest gifts to children who otherwise may receive nothing during the holiday season.

To participate in this program, all you need to do is grab an Angel Tree tag from the Christmas tree in the student lounge, purchase a present that fits any of the gift ideas on the tag, and place the gift under the Christmas tree. The national Angel Tree organization suggests a gift price range of $15 to $25, so even those with meager financial resources are able to contribute.

Members of the Christian Legal Society will wrap the gifts during the last week of classes and deliver them to children after finals. If you would like to lend an extra set of hands to the gift-wrapping or delivery process, please contact Kyle Petersen, president of the Christian Legal Society, at nebraska.kyle@gmail.com.

Thank you in advance for your help and support in making this another successful year for the Angel Tree Christmas program. Your efforts will ensure that the child of an incarcerated individual knows that somebody is thinking about her during this holiday season.
