Competition dates: the week of 10/6-10/10 at the Law School with the final round at the Nebraska Court of Appeals.
2Ls and 3Ls- this is a great opportunity to practice your oral argument skills! There is NO brief requirement. This experience also offers a great networking opportunity as the judges for the beginning rounds are lawyers from the community and for the final round we have three Nebraska Court of Appeals judges presiding. Cash prizes for the winners.
Topic: There are two topics both dealing with Fifth Amendment issues. One concerns the right against self-incrimination and the other concerns the duty to provide a Miranda warning.
