Job Search Basics: Applications, Interviews & More
Thursday, January 21 12:00pm-1:00pm
Location: Auditorium

Come and hear from a panel of attorneys who have been involved in the hiring process, about what works and what doesn't work for applicants. Although this panel will be tilted toward the OCI experience, the interview and job search rules discussed are general enough to be broadly applicable to government, non-profits and law firms alike. This is a brown-bag event so please feel free to bring your own lunch.

The NSBA and Nebraska Law CSO are co-sponsoring a
Sections of the Law Networking Event
Thursday, January 22 4:00-5:30pm
Location: Student Lounge

The Nebraska State Bar Association has sections specific to many areas of the law, and the bar provides access to resources for those interested in everything from Agricultural Law to Worker's Compensation Law These sections offer great opportunities to meet and learn from attorneys who practice the type of law you aspire to practice.

To help you meet section members and explore your choices, the NSBA and the CSO are collaborating on a NSBA Section Networking event to be held January 22, at 4:00pm in the Nebraska Law Student Lounge. The goal is for each section to have a member or two present to answer questions and speak with interested students. We have already received confirmations from 17 attorneys! Whether you are a first year or just about to graduate and whether you are already employed or still looking, this event is for you. Come take the opportunity to build connections and learn more about the legal community and all that your free bar membership offers you.

Please RSVP so we can plan for soft drinks and snacks accordingly.
