Bryan Stevenson presents "Just Mercy"

Bryan Stevenson worked as public interest lawyer, overturning wrongful convictions on death row. He also founded the Equal Justice Initiative and authored the award-winning novel, Just Mercy. He has won the ABA Wisdom Award for Public Service, the MacArthur Foundation Fellowship Award Prize, the Olaf Palme International Prize, the ACLU National Medal Of Liberty, the National Public Interest Lawyer of the Year Award, the Gruber Prize for International Justice and the Ford Foundation Visionaries Award.

His talk begins at 7pm on Tuesday, September 12th, in the O'Donnell Auditorium in the Rogers Center for Fine Arts at Nebraska Wesleyan University (50th and Huntington), with a book-signing afterwards. Wesleyan has graciously opened the event to the public starting at 6:30pm. However, seating is limited so they recommend that you get there early.
