Guardianship in Nebraska: An Updated View

From the standpoint of attorneys, probably the most significant thing that has come to our agency’s (Disability Rights of Nebraska) concern has to do with attorneys who, having been appointed as guardians, charging fees at an attorney’s hourly rate for performing services that are general guardian duties (eg., seeking attorney’s fees rates for doing grocery shopping with/for a ward).
