Robert Bosch Fellowship Program - TODAY
Monday, October 2nd
Room: Union Bank Room (131)
(Note: not lunchtime!) 3:00 – 4:00pm

Ms. Katy Novy will be here presenting about the Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship. The Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program is a distinguished transatlantic initiative that offers a select cohort of accomplished Americans the opportunity to complete a comprehensive intercultural professional program in Germany. The program is comprised of three main components: individual professional assignments, professional seminars, and German language training. The program is fully funded by the Robert Bosch Stiftung, one of the largest foundations in Germany, with the goal of fostering a community of American leaders who have first-hand experience in the political, economic and cultural environment of Germany and the European Union. Bosch Fellows complete professional assignments in their field of expertise at leading public or private institutions in Germany. In addition, they participate in professional seminars, where they travel to meet and exchange ideas with experts and decision makers from Germany and Europe. Prior to their professional assignments and seminars, Bosch Fellows receive private tutoring prior to their departure for Germany and participate in 8 weeks of intensive language courses in Berlin. Fellows are from the fields of public policy and administration, foreign and security policy, urban and regional planning, business, journalism and communications, law, or cultural and arts management (ex. museum, theater, orchestra).

6th Annual Justice Jam- Student Lounge
5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Please join us immediately following the fair for the 6th Annual Justice Jam, a fun and casual event co-hosted with the Equal Justice Society. Share a local brew with leaders from the Nebraska Public Interest community while listening to these passionate attorneys share why they fight for justice. If you came to law school to make a difference, this event is for you!

The "Justice Jam" idea was inspired by the "Conservation Jam" at the Great Plains Art Museum and is similar to the law college STIR Talks. Several local attorneys will talk about what justice means to them. But there's a catch...they only have four minutes! It’s been described as a poetry slam about justice, a public interest presentation blitz, and a whole lot of fun!

You don't have to be an EJS member, and you don't even have to know what "public interest law" means - all students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend. But, we do ask that you RSVP in the BYC App by Tuesday, October 3 for catering purposes. This means you!!
