We are so excited to begin working with all of you! Lunch will be provided and all First-year students are expected to attend so if you are not able to attend, please notify our office at lawcareer@unl.edu. The Kick-off lunch will allow us to set the stage for the rest of the year. I know many of you have questions and so do we! What do you want to do with your law degree? Where do you want to be? How can you best position yourself for success? What can you do to prepare for the summer job search? So many questions and so little time! This large group session will be used to familiarize you with some of the resources available to you including ROSCOE. We will follow up this session by asking each of you to sign up for a 1L small group session as well. These 45-minute sessions will be limited to fewer than 10 students. Kala and Tasha will meet with each group as we return your resumes and learn more about your goals. Small groups will be followed up with one on one meetings for those who still have questions.
