University Libraries will offer free weekly workshops open to students, faculty, staff and the public beginning Jan. 31 through April 24. Workshops will take place Tuesdays from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on the first floor of Love Library South.
Presenters will be library subject specialists who also publish on a variety of information-related topics. To guarantee a seat, please register at http://unl.libcal.com/event.php?id=15876 or through the "Learn at the Library" calendar on the library main page at http://libraries.unl.edu.
The Jan. 31 workshop, "The Serial Set: A Primary Source for Every Topic," will be presented by Charles Bernholz, professor and government documents librarian. Bernholz will discuss the U.S. Serial Set, a significant primary source in American history and other topics for which electronic access now means far greater access to these historical materials from 1817-1994 than has been previously possible.
