Learn more about citing images in presentations and papers.

Attendees have the opportunity to learn about finding and citing the images that support their papers and presentations. Citations are more than avoiding plagiarism- they are a trail for others to follow and discover sources for themselves. They also give due credit to the creators of the image or video an author uses to support or sustain their argument. We will introduce a small variety of image databases, touch on fair use and copyright, and learn about the main elements needed in popular citation styles (Chicago, MLA, APA) for these materials.
