Cultural Cuisine Night: Lunar New Year

ISSO will kick off their events with the cultural cuisine night series — a celebration of culture and food from around the world. The International Student and Scholar Office, in collaboration with UNL housing and UNL Dining Services, invites you to the Spring semester Cultural Cuisine Night series.

This event series will foster cultural immersion experiences that unite campus communities for social engagement, connection, and a sense of belonging. It is an opportunity to experience the cultural heritage of the world right here at UNL. These events will begin with the Chinese Lunar New Year Celebration.

The Chinese Lunar New Year celebration will occur on
- Tuesday, January 24th
- 4:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
- Willa Cather Dinning Complex, 530 N. ST.
- $5 reduced meal ticket for the buffet (for first 150 students)

Use this link to register for this event, then come to 130 Louise Pound hall to make the non-refundable $5 ticket payment - https://go.unl.edu/ovi3.

Please, bring your family and friends.

ISSO encourages you to bring $1 for the red envelope tradition during the Lion dance to fully immerse yourself in the culture. You are encouraged to wear a touch of RED.
