Where are you from?

I am from Omaha, Nebraska.

What gets you excited about Math?

Learning new ways to solve problems gets me excited about math. I love adding new skills to my math "tool belt".

Favorite math class or instructor so far? Why?

My favorite math class so far was MATH 208: Calculus III with Dr. Norwood. I loved the expansion of calculus into three dimensions, especially studying vectors.

What are you excited about doing after graduation?

After graduation I am excited about applying the problem solving skills I am learning to my career.

What is a goal you have accomplished as a Husker?

One goal I have accomplished as a husker is making new friends.

What do you wish you would have known when you started as a Math Major that you know now?

One thing I wish I would have know when I started as a math major is that the professors truly want you to learn what they are teaching. All of the professors here are very passionate about what they teach and are equally accommodating if you are struggling in their class. I learned that if you reach out to them they will be more than willing to help you, so do not be afraid to ask.

What do you hope to cross off your “bucket list” in the next few years?

In the next few years I hope to cross traveling outside the United States off my bucket list.
