Data Science Presentation from April 20th
On Thursday, April 20th, a presentation about the new Data Science major was given to the Math Club, but only three students chose or were able to attend. Staring with the upcoming Fall 2023 semester, the University will launch a new major program in Data Science. The Data Science major is a collaboration between the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Statistics, and the School of Computing, and degrees with the Data Science major will be offered by the three Colleges where these areas reside.
