Math Day T-Shirt Design Contest
Hello Math and Data Science Majors!
On February 18, 2025, the Department of Mathematics will host UNL's 35th Math Day for over 500 students from high schools across Nebraska and neighboring states. To celebrate the milestone and raise money for the departments' student-led organizations, we want to sell t-shirts to the students and teachers attending.
We are calling on all of you to create mathematically inspired t-shirt designs for the official 35th Math Day t-shirt!
The Math Day Organizing Committee will determine the winning design, which will be featured on the t-shirt. The creator(s) of the winning design will also get a t-shirt with their design on it, the pride of victory, and their design will be worn by math enthusiasts across Nebraska for years to come!
We need to determine a t-shirt design rather quickly to advertise it in the registration form, so please submit designs by Tuesday, October 1st via an email to Dr. Levi Heath at lheath2@unl.edu.
