The University of Michigan's Big Data Summer Institute (BDSI) offers a transformative six-week program designed to immerse you in the dynamic intersection of data science and public health.

Eligibility Criteria
Academic Standing: All undergraduate students are encouraged to apply, with a priority for rising juniors and seniors.

Relevant Background: We recommend prior coursework in mathematics and/or statistics with some coding experience.

Passion for Health: A strong interest in applying quantitative skills to improve human health is essential.

Program Benefits
Comprehensive Support: Receive a $2,000 stipend, up to $500 in travel reimbursements, $200 in Blue Bucks for on-campus dining, and single-occupancy, on-campus housing.
