MAst Program

Are you interested in becoming a Science Teacher? The UNL Master of Arts with an emphasis in science teaching (MAst) program could be your perfect next step. Dr. Beth Lewis directs the program and is the Principal Investigator on a National Science Foundation grant that provides $16,000 scholarships to science professionals who would like to become science teachers. Nebraska needs highly-qualified science teachers, and this program requires that people who apply have at least an undergraduate degree in their content area to become a science teacher.

You can find more information about the program here: http://cehs.unl.edu/tlte/masters-degree-teaching-certification/#MAst. In addition, there is a program brochure accessible here.

There is also a program to become a Math Teacher, the Masters of Arts with an Emphasis in Secondary Mathematics Teaching (MAmt). You can find more information here: https://cehs.unl.edu/tlte/masters-degree-teaching-certification/#MAmt.
