HPRCC Intern – Climatologist

The High Plains Regional Climate Center (HPRCC) is in need of a new intern.

Position: Student Intern

Location: Hardin Hall – East Campus

Salary: $12/hour

Availability: Up to 40 hours/week during the summer, 20 hours/week during the fall and spring semesters.

Function: To serve in a support role within the service and research-based environment at the High Plains Regional Climate Center (HPRCC).

Duties & Responsibilities: This position is designed to expose the intern to the range of activities performed at the High Plains Regional Climate Center. The intern will assist HPRCC with outreach and education activities, in responding to data and information requests, and with applied research projects.

Requirements: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), proficiency in Microsoft Office, and an interest in weather and climate.
