Volunteer for Math Day!
It's time to sign up to volunteer for Math Day 2022! With an event this size, we need your help to make sure everything runs smoothly! This year, we need approximately 100 volunteers!
What is Math Day? Math Day is an event that attracts over a thousand high schoolers each year to come put their mathematical skills to the test. Participants compete in a quiz bowl, engage in interactive workshops, and stretch their mathematical muscle through puzzles and challenges.
Why volunteer? With an event this size, we need your help to make sure everything runs smoothly! This is a great opportunity to participate in valuable outreach, and departmental service like Math Day volunteering is considered in Departmental scholarship applications. Math Day volunteers will also be able to get free food on the day of the event!
How do I volunteer? Volunteer registration for Math Day is now live at https://mathdayvolunteers.unl.edu; please register by September 20th.
Steps to register as a volunteer:
1. Go to https://mathdayvolunteers.unl.edu; click the “Create New Account” button (skip this step if you have an account
2. Go to https://mathdayvolunteers.unl.edu; click the "Login" button
3. Login using your email address and password
4. Click “Volunteer” in the red banner at the top of the page
5. Click the “Start Application” button to volunteer for May Day 2022
