Position Summary:

Radiometrics is seeking a customer-focused meteorological technician and trainer for the microwave thermodynamic profiling radiometer product line. Individuals should have a background in meteorology and data analysis with an interest in instrumentation and customer support as well as a desire to travel both domestic and international.

Key Responsibilities:
• On-site installation and training for customers on instrument maintenance, theory, operations, and meteorological applications.
• Customer support both in the field and at the factory related to instrument troubleshooting and meteorological questions.
• Data analysis involving both instrument and meteorological data to ensure optimal accuracy and performance.
• Manufacturing support for analysis and sign-off of new and repaired instruments at the factory.
• Issuance of documentation and invoicing associated with customer requests including spare parts and repairs.
• Collaboration with other Radiometrics’ teams for integration into SkyCast systems as well as testing and analysis of new products before released for production.

Required Capabilities and Qualifications:
• BS in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or closely related discipline.
• General understanding of meteorology and atmospheric phenomena.
• Experience with data analysis and programming (Python, Matlab, or similar).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with experience in training or teaching.
• Willing to travel domestic and internationally at a rate of 25-50% per year.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with other team members.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
