The UNL COVID-19 Testing Sites, are walk through COVID-19 testing. The College of Nursing and the Health Center nurses will be performing the testing. The testing site are located at the 17th and R parking garage, and the green canopies in front of the colosseum. These testing sites are for UNL students, faculty and staff only. NUIDs will be required when registering for a testing time. We need five students for one location, and seven for the other, to work from 2:30PM to 6:30PM, Monday through Friday and Sunday’s 12:30 to 4:30. We have four areas you will work in that all students will be trained in, so you are all interchangeable. The first position is a greeter, and sends the customers one at a time to the registration area. The second position is the registration receptionist that will help check our customers in. The third position helps with flow management after the test has been performed. The fourth will be the cleaning person, this person will help with the packaging of the tests, after the nurse has taken the test. This position will be in the hot zone, so extra PPE will be required. All hired student workers will be trained in all four positions, so that everyone in interchangeable. All required PPE will be provided for you. We will also have extra PPE that is not required that you wear, but we will have available for you if you’d like to take extra safety measure. This position will pay $11 per hour.
