Technology Survey - Reminder

REMINDER: for a chance to win a gift card, please complete the survey by Wednesday, November 25th.. Faculty in CASNR are interested in your feedback. As many classes were converted to online or hybrid teaching in the fall, different strategies and technologies were used by faculty to try to build community within classrooms.

You are invited to complete a survey on your perspective on the use of technology for collaboration (i.e. group work, group discussions, group projects, discussion boards) in your classes this fall. After completion of the survey, you will have the option to enter a drawing for can for a chance to win a $100 gift card, one of two $50 gift cards, or one of twelve $25 gift cards. Please complete the survey by Wednesday, November 25th.

Free MiFi hotspots devices available for students

Free WiFi.jpgTo ensure students have reliable internet access while away from campus, Nebraska Information Technology Services has 1,000 mobile wi-fi hotspot devices for students to check out before they depart at the conclusion of the fall semester.

The MiFi devices are available on a first-come-first-served basis and there is no charge to students for the device, network connection, or data used. Students can check out a device for the entire time they are away from campus up to the end of the spring semester.

Supporting the Community

Prepares testing and support materials and samples. Operates and maintains specialized
equipment and laboratory instruments. Ensures availability and cleanliness of lab
equipment/supplies. Conducts tests and experiments following prescribed methods and procedures

HUSKER PANTRY

Food and shelter insecurities are an unfortunate reality for students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and nationwide. Nearly 1 in 3 students on our campus worries about not having enough food until they get money to buy more.

Husker Pantry, located on the 1st floor of the University Health Center (room 123), provides a one-stop location to assist students. Information about community resources for housing and other food assistance programs is also available.
