Robert and Karla Baltzell Student Innovation Award – Available year-round
Research support to students studying critical questions at the intersection of water and livestock, animal feed and/or crops. Full-time undergraduate student at UNL pursuing research in the area of livestock, animal feed and/or crops and their intersection with water use, have a faculty member willing to serve as a Research Advisor; and able to commit to approximately 5-10 hours of research per week. Funding is available year-round and may be used for student hourly pay, research supplies, travel associated with research, and/or presenting research findings at a professional meeting. Nebraska Cooperative Council (NCCEF) Andersen Scholarship – Due April 15, 2022
The $3,000 NCCEF Andersen scholarship is available to a sophomore, junior or senior in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) pursuing a degree program in Agribusiness or Agricultural Economics with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, be a son/daughter of parent/legal guardian who is an active agricultural producer and active voting member/stockholder of one or more of the Nebraska Cooperative Council’s active cooperative members, have the present intent to return to work in agribusiness or farming in the state of Nebraska following graduation, and preference shall be given to a student that is currently registered for, is taking, or has completed the Cooperatives class offered by CASNR (AECN 474 Cooperatives). https://www.jotform.com/CASNR/NCCA
UNL Panhandle Research & Extension Center Scholarship – Due April 15, 2022

Applicants must be pursuing a degree in Animal Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, Grassland Ecology and Management and/or Grazing Livestock Systems and have a desire to pursue a career in the area of range management following graduation.
