“Mentoring That Matters: Building Supportive Relationships for Career Growth,” is set for April 7 from 2:00--3:30 p.m. in the Willa Cather Dining Complex, Red Cloud A.
The session includes an interactive panel on effective mentoring practices in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Attendees will gather valuable information on practical mentoring strategies, fostering supportive professional environments, promoting career development and navigating common mentor-mentee challenges.
Panelists include:
Marianna Burks, assistant professor of practice, School of Biological Sciences.
Erin Carr, postdoctoral research associate, chemical and biomolecular engineering.
Milad Roohi, assistant professor, Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction.
Rebecca Roston, associate professor, biochemistry; Ralph and Alice Raikes Chair in Plant Sciences.
Guy Trainin, professor, teaching, learning and teacher education.
Registration is required, with seating limited to the first 100 registrants. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.
