Eligibility Requirements
Applicants for the REACH Scholarship must:
Applicants must be a resident of Nebraska.
Applicants must be women enrolled in an accredited undergraduate bioscience program or a related discipline.
Applicants must be an undergraduate student at a Bio Nebraska approved Nebraska college, community college or university and must have at least a junior standing in a four-year curriculum or have more than 50 percent of credits needed for a degree in a two-year curriculum.
Applicant must be currently enrolled in good standing and carry a full-time course load at the time of application and during the semester for which the scholarship is granted.
Applicant must demonstrate unmet need after all other forms of college financial aid are secured.
Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
Application documents shall include the following:
Completion of all fields on the application form
Provide two letters of recommendation
Provide college transcripts

Selection Process:
The Bio Nebraska Foundation Board will review each application and make final decisions.
Scholarship Funds:
Selected recipients must submit their official fall class schedule to Bio Nebraska to receive their scholarship. Funds will then be sent directly to the school bursar to cover expenses (tuition, books, room & board). Failure to provide the official class schedule by the deadline will result in forfeiture of the scholarship.
