The objective of the Microbiology Club is to expand students’ knowledge on the subject of microbiology outside of the classroom including tours and lab experience like Agar Art. And it's a great way to spend time with like-minded peers! Next Meeting - Fall 2022
MBIO 498 is a course focused on independent study and laboratory or field investigation of a specific problem. This course is specifically for microbiology students who are working on research projects in a lab on campus and it will be offered this Spring 2022 Semester. Contact MBio Academic Success Coordinator Brandi Sigmon for permission codes.
Students may apply for up to $1500 of funding that enables their participation in an internship or research opportunity. Funds may be used for transportation to the location of the opportunity, program fees or tuition, extra housing and food costs, conference participation, equipment, or any other reasonable expense necessary to participate.
