Friday, September 30, 2022, 3:00 - 5:00pm in the Goldenrod/Sunflower Suites, 3rd Floor of the UNL East Campus Union

Workshop Goal: This year's workshop includes a panel discussion followed by networking activities. You will develop an understanding of the core concept of networking, learn and map out ways to grow your network, and determine networking goals for the semester while mixing with undergraduates, graduates, staff & faculty.

Undergraduate research positions in the fungal ecology lab

Are you interested in microbiology, fungi, molecular biology, and/or plant pathogens?

Come join us at the newly established Quantitative Fungal Ecology Lab (http://www.fungalecology.com) in the Department of Plant Pathology. We are seeking undergraduate researchers to assist in general laboratory practices, from isolating fungal pathogens to preparing DNA for sequencing and processing of raw data.

Students may apply for up to $1500 of funding that enables their participation in an internship or research opportunity. Funds may be used for transportation to the location of the opportunity, program fees or tuition, extra housing and food costs, conference participation, equipment, or any other reasonable expense necessary to participate.
