Welcome, Microbiology Students!

Welcome to the Fall 2023 Semester at the UNL! We are excited for each of you to join us for various Microbiology Program events that we host throughout the semester! We also of course encourage you to get involved with the Microbiology Club! All of these events will be shared in the MicroZone so DO check every week for updates and information. We are especially excited to continue professional development opportunities through the MARVEL workshop to complement experiential learning opportunities in which you may engage throughout your time here at UNL. Remember you do not have to be a freshman to participate this is designed for students at any stage of your education as themes change. This year join us to learn how to communicate your science on October 6. For student interested in engaging in experiential learning don't hesitate to reach out to your advisor or Dr. Brandi Sigmon, Academic Success Coordinator. We are here to support you whether it is helping you find a research laboratory or navigating challenges in which you have encountered at the UNL, do reach out to us.
