• Interested in going abroad but don’t know where to start? Attend a Huskers Abroad 101 session to take the first step toward going abroad! FIRST GENERATION CAREER READINESS SERIES: SESSION ONE-YOUR STRENGTHS & PERSONAL BRANDING

Wednesday, Sept. 16th, 3-4:30pm CST, via Zoom
• Through workshop activities, discussions, hands-on practice, and professional and student panels, First Gen students will have the opportunity to identify their strengths, explore career pathways, learn how to communicate their strengths and interests in resumes, cover letters, personal statements, and interviews, gain strategies to find jobs and internships, and to meet and hear from professionals from a variety of fields.

PRE-LAW ORIENTATION

• This workshop is designed for any student considering applying to law school in the future.
• Freshmen through seniors will learn what makes a successful applicant.
• Students will break into groups and discuss specific timelines for undergraduate preparation for law school admission.

LAW SCHOOL FORUMS

Sept. 26th, Oct. 13th, Nov. 4th & Dec. 12th hosted by LSAC
One of the best opportunities to meet with law schools and prepare to apply to law school is by attending one of the LSAC’s Law School Forums. These forums will include the following activities:
• Meet with representatives from over 200 US, Canadian, and Australian Law Schools
• Participate in workshops designed to help you learn about diversity in law, the LSAC application, the LSAT exam, and other relevant pre-law topics.
• View on-demand workshops about financing a legal education or the LSAT.
