Join us for a conversation about internship and career opportunities with the State of Nebraska. If you're interested in a career that takes you globally but can start through practical work right here locally then you must join us and learn from UNL alumni Taylor Bolam.

Mr. Bolam assists Nebraska companies with exports, joint ventures, technology transfers, and new market entry while also working to attract international companies to the state. Before joining the Department, Taylor worked in general aviation, at the U.S. Senate, and an international strategic communications firm. Throughout university, he traveled extensively. Taylor studied in Berlin, Germany and in Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod, Russia with the Critical Language Scholarship.

While working for a Washington, D.C.-based international strategic communications firm, Taylor produced daily intelligence briefs on Russia and Ukraine to provide clients actionable information on business and political developments. Additionally, he supported the firm’s international efforts in Europe and the Middle East.

In 2017, he received a Fulbright Grant to Russia where he spent a year at Kuzbass State Technical University, studying Russian and teaching English to engineering and business students.

Mr. Bolam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Nebraska. He speaks advanced Russian, intermediate German, and intermediate Spanish.
