The 2025 Belousek Lecture in Czech History is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 11th at 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union - Platte River Room South.
The Frank A. Belousek Lecture supports speakers engaged with Czech History in the Department. This year's lecture is a Conversation with Daniela Spenser, a fellow at CIESAS in Mexico City. Her book, Echoes of Exile: A Family’s Odyssey through the Holocaust and Cold War, is a sweeping exploration of survival, resilience, and the fate of one family amid Europe’s most turbulent century.
