UPC Nebraska presents writer and director Jennette McCurdy for a live moderated conversation on Tuesday, March 24th, at 7:30 pm at the Lied Center for Performing Arts.

McCurdy will discuss her newest novel, “Half His Age,” a bold and emotionally layered story that explores power, identity, ambition, and the complicated dynamics of age-gap relationships. Through sharp prose and deeply human characters, the novel examines the blurred lines between admiration and manipulation, independence and validation, and what it truly means to come of age on your own terms.

In addition to sharing insights into the writing process behind “Half His Age,” McCurdy will reflect on her evolution as a storyteller and the transition into long-form fiction. The evening will begin with a moderated conversation, followed by Q&A on pre-submitted audience questions, giving attendees the opportunity to ask about craft, creativity, and the themes in her newest work.
