Dear Bass Lover,
I am excited to announce the 9th Annual Bass Day at the Glenn Korff School of Music, University of Nebraska - Lincoln. The event will take place in the Westbrook Music Building on the main campus on Saturday, October 19th from 10 AM - 4 PM, allowing for those who are traveling some distance to attend. The event is free and open to the public including bass students, teachers, and string teachers who would like to learn more about the bass. Please bring your own lunch. Bass Day includes warm-ups & technical exercises, an orchestral excerpt session with conductor Dr. Tyler White, a solo masterclass (please let me know if you would like to play), a Big Bass Jam with KC Bass Workshop Director Johnny Hamil, recitals, and more.
I look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you and your students to come and share in a terrific bass experience. Kindly pass the word to any and all bassists.
The event is free, but you must register in advance. Here is a link to the registration page: http://go.unl.edu/bassday
