2021 Message of Hope from the Glenn Korff School of Music

Dear Friends,

I hope this message finds you well, and that your 2021 is off to a fantastic start. As we continue to move through this new year, it seemed like an opportune time to share with you how excited and proud I am of your Glenn Korff School of Music. Through all of the challenges created by the pandemic over the past year, our students and faculty continue to thrive, engaging in artistic endeavors as strongly as ever before. The performances may look a little different than they did a year ago, but our students and faculty keep finding innovative ways to create and perform.

I also wanted to share THIS VIDEO with you, a wonderful performance from one of our choirs. We hope you find this gift inspiring, whether viewed from your screen at home, at your place of work, or maybe even outdoors during a walk around your block. We hope to continue sending out these gems periodically. In the meantime, you can always enjoy other performances on our GKSOM YouTube Page.

We miss having you attend our performances at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Glenn Korff School of Music, and we look forward to the time when we can welcome you back to our beautiful campus and performance venues. Until then, know that the Glenn Korff School of Music is still thriving, and we will continue to find new and inventive ways to bring music and dance to you.

Here’s to a much happier and safer 2021!
