The Chiara String Quartet will be making its debut on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus at the College of Law for a lunchtime brownbag concert on Monday, March 9 from noon to 1 p.m. in Hamann Auditorium in Ross McCollum Hall.

“This marks the first time that we are performing a public concert on East Campus, and we couldn’t be more happy to be making our ‘debut’ at the College of Law,” Jonah Sirota with the Chiara String Quartet said. “This is but a taste of the program we will be presenting next week (March 18, 7:30 p.m., both are free performances), when we will play both the Brahms and Bartók string quartets in their entirety. We hope you will sit back sit back, relax, and enjoy a helping of good quartet music, played by heart, and served up piping hot!

University of Nebraska College of Law Dean Susan Poser said, "We are delighted to welcome the world-renown Chiara Quartet for a unique lunchtime concert in the Hamann Auditorium at the College of Law. I am very excited to bring these outstanding musicians into our building and to offer our students, faculty, and staff, as well as the east campus community, an opportunity to take a break from their busy days to enjoy music.”
