Summer Strings Festival
June 14-17, 2015
The summer strings festival will take place at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for all high school aged students.
Students will:
* Perform in a string orchestra, conducted by UNL Symphony Director, Dr. Tyler White
* Receive chamber music coaching from members of the Chiara String Quartet
* Perform in solo masterclasses with the UNL string faculty
* Work directly with UNL's award winning string faculty including members of the Chiara String Quartet, violin soloist and Albany Records recording artist, David C. Neely, Lincoln Symphony principal violinist Clark Potter, cellist with the Trio Nuovo and Concordia String Trio Dr. Karen Becker and EMI and Innova recording artist Dr. Hans Sturm.
