With our imaginations fueled by tales of adventure on the big screen, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music’s Wind Ensemble will follow Tinker Bell in flight, join Ahab on the deck of the Pequod, and get lost in space with Robby the Robot on December 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall.
And, in the heart of darkness (literally), the ensemble will accompany F. W. Murnau’s 1926 masterpiece of expressionistic cinema, Faust, with a contemporary score by Huck Hodge. Don’t miss this special evening of epic drama and unforgettable characters.
