The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music Percussion Ensemble presents a night of aquatically themed music entitled “Water” on Monday, February 29 at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall. (The performance was originally scheduled for February 25).

Not only will compositions reflect different states and bodies of water, but performers will also dip instruments into water to create remarkable textures and timbres. The program includes “Water” by Alejandro Vinao, “Fishbones” by Ondrej Adamek, “Surfacing” by Dave Hall, “The River” by Seth Adams, and “Pyriphlegathon” by Christopher Deane.

Tickets: General Admission $5; Students/Seniors $3. This performance will be live webcast: http://arts.unl.edu/music/webcasts.
