The Large Brass Ensembles of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Glenn Korff School of Music will perform a recital on March 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall, originally scheduled for Westbrook Recital Hall. The performance is free and open to the public.
The featured ensembles include the Husker Horn Choir, the UNL Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble and the Nebraska Trombone Ensemble. The ensembles will feature repertoire ranging from Feierlicher Einzug by Richard Strauss to Layla by Eric Clapton as well as The Great Tricycle Race by UNL alumnus Anthony Burnham. The ensembles are directed by Dr. Alan Mattingly, Dr. Scott Anderson and Professor Craig Fuller.
