Sopranos and altos enrolled in Nebraska high school choral programs will come together to sing for the Nebraska Women’s Choral Festival to take place on Monday, April 8th on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln City Campus. Each year we celebrate the continuing tradition of the power and beauty of women’s voices raised in song. The UNL University Chorale and campus a cappella ensemble, Boots and Cats, will be joined by high school singers from Bellevue East HS, Glenwood HS, Omaha Central, Omaha Northwest, and Papillion La Vista HS. Individual choirs will also perform on the final evening concert at 7 p.m. in the Kimball Recital Hall. The festival will also continue the tradition of singing several combined choral selections, conducted by Dr. Rhonda Fuelberth, Dr. Marques L.A. Garrett, and Anne Gassmann, all with the Glenn Korff School of Music.
