Couch earns award from National Association of Biology Teachers

Brian Couch, an associate professor in the School of Biological Sciences, received the Four-Year College and University Section Research in Biology Education Award from the National Association of Biology Teachers for creativity and innovation in research that furthers our understanding of undergraduate biology teaching and education.

The award will be presented at the 2019 NABT Professional Development Conference at the Honors Luncheon on November 16. He will also present his work during the NABT Research Symposium.

Couch heads the Couch Research Group and specializes in assessment in undergraduate STEM courses. He was in the inaugural cohort of Faculty Fellows for Student Success.
