STEM-Trek is looking for eighth-grade science and math teachers who might be interested in helping with a Science Slam contest: http://www.stem-trek.org/scienceslamsc20/
STEM-Trek wants to engage teachers from EPSCoR states like Nebraska. It would be fun for students, whether they are learning from home or in the classroom. Teachers will have the opportunity to pre-screen submissions to ensure content is appropriate. At the end of the project, they will publicize the outcome, which will include a screenshot of a student Zoom session. Parent permission may need to be sought to utilize this image (without names), so they will need the teachers' assistance.
