Join us on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. CT, for an edition of NSTA’s Science Update. To register, log into NSTA or create an account at https://www.nsta.org/membership.

Identifying a rock or mineral can be the beginning of an investigation. Every rock has a story just waiting to be told, and everyone loves to hear a good story. Prof. Ethan Baxter will give rocks their own voice and share several rock stories about Life's Evolving Relationship with the Earth with topics spanning ancient life, climate change, water, and critical resources. Experience new and perhaps surprising connections between rocks and minerals and the most critical issues of our time.

All individuals receive a certificate of participation and 100 NSTA activity points for attending the live seminar and completing the end-of-program survey. A certificate of participation is not awarded for watching the recorded version of the program.
